The Mollen Foundation was founded by “Dr. Art” Mollen and his wife, Paige Mollen. Dr. Art Mollen is an osteopathic family physician and is nationally recognized as a health, fitness and preventive medicine expert. Dr. Mollen is the founder of The Mollen Clinic as well as Mollen Immunization Clinics of North America.
He has authored four bestselling books on health and fitness and is the founder of the Phoenix 10K, now celebrating its 38th year. Mollen, a U.S. Air Force veteran, was also recommended to hold the post of U.S. Surgeon General. Today, Mollen still practices medicine in Arizona and is the medical correspondent for the “Good Morning Arizona” newscast on KTVK-TV, Channel 3 in Phoenix. Mollen has also made appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King, ABC News Nightline, Good Morning America and Entertainment Tonight.
Paige Mollen is a lifelong educator, advocate and strategist for underserved populations of students. A former Teaching and Learning Consultant for a progressive educational technology company, she often collaborated with district administrators, teachers and students.
As a classroom educator, she understands the impact of poor eating habits and sedentary behavior on learning and self esteem. Paige’s comprehensive “whole child” approach promotes active learning and movement through cutting edge technology. She emphasizes 21st century skills by encouraging critical thinking and student collaboration. This creates meaningful learning experiences that can often be the watershed to instill lifelong healthy habits in children.
Paige holds a B.A. in Special Education from Arizona State University and a Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University.
